Hearts of Oak head coach Samuel Boadu is confident of still catching up with league leaders Asante Kotoko in the league title race.

The Phobians failed to close the gap on the league table after losing to Aduana Stars on matchday 20 of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.

Sam Adams scored the only goal of the game to give the ‘Ogya lads’ the deserving win.

The defeat sees Hearts of Oak 15 points behind league leaders Asante Kotoko.

However, Samuel Boadu who was speaking after the game is confident his side can bounce back and challenge Asante Kotoko for the title.

“The title race is not yet over.”Boadu said.

“This is football, the boys played well but were not able to convert their chances.”

The Phobians host AshantiGold SC at the Accra Sports Stadium on matchday 21.

Sulley Muntari is expected to make a return for the club after missing the game against Aduana Stars on Sunday.
