Chelsea pair Romelu Lukaku and Callum Hudson-Odoi will be absent for the crucial second leg clash against Real Madrid in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night.

Thomas Tuchel’s men travel to the Spanish capital 3-1 down on aggregate after a Karim Benzema hat-trick in the first leg.

Tuchel revealed to the media that Lukaku and Hudson-Odoi will not be available for the Real Madrid game.

“Callum Hudson-Odoi out, Ben Chilwell out, Romelu Lukaku will not travel, Azpilicueta has tested negative and is in the group. Ross Barkley is sick.”

Chelsea put six goals past Southampton over the weekend and will be confident ahead of the second leg against Real Madrid on Tuesday.
