Despite electing to sign a new deal and stay at Paris Saint-Germain, Kylian Mbappe insists his ambition of playing for Real Madrid is “never over.”
At the weekend, the France striker, 23, turned down a move to the Spanish champions in favor of a new three-year contract with PSG.
Mbappe, though, would not rule out a future move to Real in an interview with BBC Sport’s Guillem Balague on Monday.
“You never know what the future holds,” he remarked.
“I don’t think about the future; I only focus about the now, and the present is that I signed a new deal with Paris St-Germain for another three years.”
When asked if signing the contract meant his ambition of playing for Real Madrid was over, Mbappe replied: “Never over.”
