Richmond Boakye, a former Red Star Belgrade striker, says he would love to play for Asante Kotoko before retiring from professional football.
In an interview with Joy Sports, the Ghanaian international stated that after he is done with European football, he would like to play for Asante Kotoko.
“I love them [Asante Kotoko], I think after my football in Europe I’ll like to play for them.”
He goes on to say that Asante Kotoko is a visually appealing club, which makes it easy for fans to come watch them play.
“The way Kotoko have packaged themselves makes it easy for people to wake up to just go and watch them.”
Richmond Boakye, who presently plays for Beitar Jerusalem, has played 19 times for the Ghana Black Stars, scoring seven goals.
