Gladson Awako, an experienced midfielder, has been designated the Black Galaxies’ official captain by head coach Annor Walker.
Imoro Ibrahim of Asante Kotoko and Vincent Atingah of Medeama will serve as the veteran midfielder’s first and second vice captains, respectively.
“Earlier today we appointed Gladson Awako as captain and he will be assisted by Vincent Atingah and Imoro Ibrahim.” Coach Walker said in an interview with GFA Communications.
“I urge all players to give them the necessary support to help us achieve success in our upcoming qualifiers he added.”
On July 24 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium, the Black Galaxies will play Benin in the opening leg of the CHAN qualifying matches.
