On Saturday night, Tottenham Hotspur will go to the Amex to play Brighton & Hove Albion in an effort to get back to winning in the Premier League.

Last weekend’s North London derby saw Spurs lose 3-1 to Arsenal, while Brighton’s inaugural match under new manager Roberto De Zerbi ended in a thrilling 3-3 draw with Liverpool.

With a total of 14 points from seven games, Brighton is currently fourth in the standings, one point ahead of Chelsea in fifth. They have only suffered one league loss this season, which was at Fulham at the end of August.

Due to Tottenham’s week-long obligations in Europe, the Seagulls will be the more rested of the two teams, and a win on Saturday would set them up well for games against Brentford and Nottingham Forest.

Tottenham, meanwhile, also had a solid start to the season, finishing third in the rankings with 17 points after winning five, drawing two, and losing one of their eight Premier League games.

However, Antonio Conte’s team has only won one of their past four games overall, and they lost 3-1 to Arsenal last weekend in the North London derby.

After this game, Spurs will play four more league games against Everton, Manchester United, Newcastle United, and Bournemouth before opening November with a trip to Liverpool, which will be their final matchup before the season ends for the 2022 World Cup.
