Cristiano Ronaldo will be re-added to the Manchester United roster for Thursday’s Europa League match against Sheriff Tiraspol, according to Erik ten Hag.
After being benched for Saturday’s 1-1 draw between Chelsea and United at Stamford Bridge, Ronaldo returned to United training on Tuesday.
Ten Hag gave the 37-year-old a warning after he refused to be used as a late substitution in last week’s 2-0 victory against Tottenham at home and for leaving the stadium too soon.
“Yes, Cristiano will be in the squad on Thursday,” Ten Hag said at his pre-match press conference.
