Casemiro admits the Premier League is ‘more physical’ than La Liga

Manchester United midfielder Casemiro has admitted that the Premier League is “more physical than La Liga.

The Brazillian spent nine years at Real Madrid before joining the Red Devils during the summer transfer window.

So far, Casemiro has played nine Premier League games and believes the league is superior to La Liga.

“Premier League is stronger and more physical than La Liga,” Casemiro said in a pre-match press conference for the Europa League game against Real Sociedad.

The 30-year-old also added that football in Spain is more about “tiki-taka and passing game”.

Casemiro returns to Spain for the first time since leaving Los Blancos and has a huge task of beating Sociedad by a two-goal margin if they want to top their group, and escape the play-off round.
