The first leg of Manchester United’s preseason tour of Thailand will be missed by Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo won’t be traveling to Bangkok on Friday since he has been given extended time off for family obligations.

Ronaldo is firmly viewed as a member of the United team, and the club has no intention of trading him.

However, they are making no assurances that he will be there for the trip’s stop in Australia, and his absence would further fuel rumors about his future.

If the appropriate deal comes up, the 37-year-old forward from Portugal wants to leave the Premier League club this summer.

Due to family obligations, Ronaldo has so far this week missed the club’s return to preseason training at Carrington and has instead trained at the headquarters of the Portuguese national team.
