England vs Germany prediction, odds and preview

At Wembley Stadium on Monday night, the two European powerhouses will only compete for pride as they complete League A Group 3 of the UEFA Nations League.

After losing to Italy 1-0 on Friday night, the Three Lions were relegated to League B, while Hansi Flick’s team had their chances of winning the title evaporate after losing to Hungary 1-0.

Additionally, their only goal thus far in the competition was a Harry Kane penalty, which is simply unacceptable for a footballing nation of this caliber.

England and Germany would have been expected to compete for first place in League A Group 3 in a competitive three-way match, but Hungary is already riding off into the sunset after defeating Hansi Flick’s team 1-0 while the Three Lions were defeated in Italy.

The Magyars defeated Germany in Leipzig in the 17th minute thanks to a backheel goal from Adam Szalai, and Die Mannschaft, who are currently two points behind Italy in third place, can now only finish second at best in their Nations League group.

In the Nations League, Flick’s team has been dangerously lackluster, losing all four of their games aside from a 5-2 thrashing of the European champions back in June.
