Kylian Mbappe says has no intentions of leaving Paris Saint-Germain and is full focus on the task at hand despite the disappointing Champions League exit.

PSG were knocked out of the competition at the expense of Bayern Munich in the round of 16 after a 3-0 aggregate score.

Mbappe has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid in recent times and was close to joining the Spanish club before a change of mind forced him to renew his contract.

However, with the Ligue 1 side’s Champions League ending on Wednesday night, there have been calls for the 24-year-old to reconsider his future and join Los Blancos or switch away from PSG.

After stating his goal for this season is to help PSG win the Ligue 1 title, Mbappe has now spoken out about his future. But when asked about what the future would be, he did leave the door open for a potential escape with a cryptic “we’ll see” remark.

“Am I thinking about my future? No, no, I’m calm,” he told reporters after the game against the German side.

“The only thing that matters to me this season is winning the championship. Afterwards, we’ll see.”

Reviewing the team’s perfermonace, Mbappe added: “We are disappointed… Until when? I don’t know, up until now I’m just talking about this season, I don’t care about anything else.”

“We lost against a great team and we have the league and we hope to win it.”

PSG have exited the round of 16 of the Champions League five times in the last seven years.
