Liverpool vs Brentford prediction, odds and preview

Liverpool are hoping to keep up their excellent streak of form and pick up all three points against Brentford at home when the two sides meet on Saturday.

The Reds are on a five-match winning streak in the league and will be pretty confident of picking up three points tonight.

Jurgen Klopp’s team is currently fifth in the league table, with only a tiny possibility of finishing in the top four. However, the Reds will need their opponents to drop points in the remaining games. With a win tonight, Liverpool may keep their dreams alive.

Brentford, on the contrary hand, have recovered from a string of dismal results with back-to-back victories over Chelsea and Nottingham Forest. They defeated Liverpool in January, and the visitors will seek to cause a shock at Anfield.

Brentford are now tenth in the league table, and Thomas Frank’s side will be hoping to stay in the top half at the conclusion of the season.

The Bees travel to Anfield having only won two of their last eight Premier League away matches, despite their stunning 2-1 Etihad victory back in November.

The New Year festivities at the Gtech Community Stadium lasted late into the night when Frank’s team defeated Liverpool 3-1 in January, but the Reds had won 3-0 at Anfield 12 months before that and have not lost at home to their capital counterparts since 1937.
