Inter Milan forward Romelu Lukaku has tipped Erling Haaland as one of two players to dominate football for the next decade.
Haaland has not slowed down his development since moving to Europe’s top five leagues after leaving Red Bull Salzburg.
The forward had a blistering time with Borussia Dortmund before joining Manchester City, where he has had an excellent start in his first season with the club.
Haaland could add the Champions League to his trophy hall over the weekend but they face Inter in the final in what could be an exciting final.
Ahead of the game, Lukaku has lauded the Norwegian and tipped him to dominate the sport for many years to come.
“I think he will dominate, with [Kylian] Mbappe, world football for the next 10 years. They will be fighting from the new generation. They will really take over [from Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo] in the next two years,” he told CNN.
The Norwegian megastar’s colleagues certainly admire him, with Alphonso Davies of Bayern Munich predicting that he will become a ‘legend of the game.’
Even Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois referred to the Premier League Player of the Season as one of football’s “stars.”
With Manchester City and Inter Milan poised to meet in the Champions League final, Romelu Lukaku believes Erling Haaland will continue to dominate football.
