Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has urged both the club’s fans and Inter Milan fans to celebrate ahead of the UEFA Champions League final.
According to him, being at the final of the competition is a great achievement that needs not to be taken for granted,
Man City and Inter Milan go head-to-head in Istanbul on Saturday night with the former hoping to win the tournament for the first time in their history and complete a treble while the Italian side are also looking at winning it for the fourth time.
However, Guardiola, who won the competition twice with Barcelona believes the occasion is a big one for the fans of both clubs.
“It is a day to celebrate. For Manchester City and Inter Milan fans, it is a day to be happy and to celebrate being here. That’s the most important thing,” he told the media at a press conference ahead of the game.
“This is the finish. The Champions League is an incredible competition. We are here to support what Uefa are doing in this tournament. We will support the game and try to have fun.”
City have already won the Premier League title and the FA Cup while Inter won the Coppa Italia.

Manchester City win
Inter Milan are a compact side and will likely make things difficult for Pep Guardiola's Manchester City side. But the Cityzens have shown time and time again that they can overcome any challenge they face this season. With one eye on a historic treble, Man City will be extra motivated for this final.
