Black Stars striker Jordan Ayew has stated that he is open to the idea of playing in the Ghana Premier League before calling it a career in football.
The 31-year-old has played his entire career in Europe, notably in France and England, and recently hit a milestone of 100 career goals.
Ayew, who recently signed a contract extension at Crystal Palace, has hinted at the possibility of playing for an Accra-based Ghana Premier League club in the future.
“The Ghana Premier League is something that I have in mind. One day, I could play for a team in Accra because I base in Accra,” he told GTV Sports Plus.
Jordan is set to follow the footsteps of high-profile Ghana internationals like Asamoah Gyan and Sulley Muntari who returned to play for local clubs recently.
