Arsenal can win everything – William Saliba

William Saliba believes Arsenal have everything in place to ensure they win every trophy available to them.

According to the centre-back, the players, coaching staff and the mentality within the squad are ‘strong’ enough to ensure success in the coming season.

Arsenal missed out on an opportunity to win their first league title in close to two decades as a lack of consistency in the latter part of the season saw Manchester City go on to win it.

However, Saliba, who just penned a new long-term contract at the Emirates believes the club is capable of competing for everything.

“I’m so happy and I want to thank everyone in the club,’ he told Metro. “I spoke with the coach, with Edu, with my agent, but it was an easy decision to extend my contract and that’s it.

“I think we can achieve everything. Of course, it’s easy to say this, but we have the coach, we have the character, we have the players and every year the team gets stronger. We have better players with a good mentality.”

Arsenal are already making plans for the new season and continues to strengthen the squad with the addition of Kai Havertz.

Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber are also expected to sign for the Gunners this summer.
