Ghana international Mohammed Kudus has set sights on reclaiming the Dutch league title in the upcoming season.
Ajax failed to win any trophy during the 2022/23 season and missed out on UEFA Champions League football after finishing third in the league.
The 22-year-old was in a rich vein of form for the Dutch side despite not starting the season as a starter under Alfred Schreuder.
Kudus rejoined the squad for pre-season on Wednesday and has been speaking about his holidays as well as his expectation for the new season.
“I was spending my holidays in Ghana with family, it was nice and calm,” he said.
“Now we have to do better than last season, that’s the expectation. To win the league and to do better in the Europa League.”
The attacking midfielder has been linked with a move away from Ajax with Brighton and Hove Albion and Manchester United credited with interest.
However, Ajax look certain to hold on to him for yet another season unless a reasonable offer is put on the table.
