Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest prediction, odds and preview

After picking up a first Premier League in their third game, Chelsea will look to make it back-to-back victories this weekend.

Chelsea play host to Nottingham Forest on Saturday before the international break with a lot of expectation ahead.

The Blues claimed a convincing victory over Luton Town in their last game in the league with Raheem Sterling scoring a brace while Nicolas Jackson also netted his first in Chelsea colours.

Nottingham Forest will be gutted they didn’t pick up all three points when they faced Manchester United at Old Trafford last weekend.

Forest looked to be heading for an emphatic win after taking a two-goal lead in the opening five minutes of the fixture

However, the Red Devils fought back to win the game 3-2 with Christian Eriksen, Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes all scoring for Erik ten Hag’s men.

Just like Chelsea, Forest are also on the look out for their second win of the 2023/24 Premier League season with their first coming against Sheffield United on matchday two.

They have also suffered losses to Arsenal and Man United in the other two games.

Chelsea, aside the win over Luton, drew their first game against Liverpool before losing to West Ham United in the second.

Both fixtures between these two teams last season ended in stalemates with a 1-1 draw at the City Ground coming before a 2-2 game at Stamford Bridge.

The fixture is set to kick off at 2 PM.
