Bayern Munich vs Bochum prediction, odds and preview

Bayern Munich will target yet another win when they face Bochum this weekend in the German Bundesliga.

The Bavarian club have failed to win one game so far this season since the start of the top flight and have since enjoyed success.

Thomas Tuchel’s men have picked up three wins and one draw in four games while they also began their UEFA Champions League campaign with a 4-3 win over Manchester United.

The German giants defeated the Red Devils 4-3 at home on Wednesday, while the visitors drew 1-1 with Eintracht Frankfurt in the league last weekend.

Since losing the German Super Cup 3-0 to RB Leipzig in August, Bayern have won four of their last five games, scoring 15 goals in total and scoring at least twice in all five games, and Tuchel’s men will be confident of more success in front of goal against a Bochum side they have had plenty of success against in recent years.

Bayern has won three of the last four Bundesliga matches versus Bochum, scoring 21 goals in the process, with two of those three victories coming by a resounding 7-0 scoreline – one at home in September 2021 and the other away in August last year.

Bayern’s home record is also encouraging ahead of Saturday’s meeting, as they have lost just one of their past 25 Bundesliga games at the Allianz Arena.

Bochum are one of six Bundesliga teams without a win after four games, although they have drawn their previous three against Borussia Dortmund, Augsburg, and Eintracht Frankfurt, salvaging a point against the latter last weekend.
