Barcelona will be without the services of Robert Lewandowski when they face Granda in the Spanish League this weekend.

The Poland international came off during the UEFA Champions League win over Porto in midweek.

Lewandowski was replaced by Ferran Torres in the 34th minute of the game with the Spain forward going on to score the only goal of the game.

The medical report from the club says the striker is expected to be out for an extended period which rules him out of the game against Granada before the international break.

Barcelona face Granda away from home, a side that has struggled so far in the league this season as they occupy the 19th position after eight games played.

Barcelona failed to beat Granada when the two teams last played at the latter’s home with the Blaugrana side grabbing a 1-1 draw.

Not only will Lewandowski miss the game against Granada, but his presence against Athletic Bilbao and Shakhtar Donetsk is also in doubt.

The player could also miss the crucial game against Real Madrid later this month but could be available for the encounter against Real Sociedad.
