With results going their way in the early part of the season, Arsenal will look to continue their dominance over Chelsea when they meet over the weekend.

The Gunners travel to west London to take on the Blues in a much-anticipated game of the season at Stamford with strong rivalry at stake.

Arsenal are joint-leaders at the top of the Premier League table after eight games with the others being north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

Chelsea, on the other hand, have had quite a slow start to the season under a new manager but are aiming to climb up the table in the coming weeks. Mauricio Pochettino’s men currently occupy the 11th position and are nine points behind Arsenal.

The Blues recorded back-to-back league wins before the international break, beating Fulham and Burnley, both away from home.

Chelsea also scored six games in the two games while conceding once.

Arsenal are yet to taste Premier League defeat so far this season as they have six wins and two draws from the opening eight games.

Mikel Arteta’s boys’ wins include beating Manchester United and Manchester City in the early part of the season while they have only dropped points against Fulham and Tottenham.

Chelsea are yet to beat Arsenal in the last three league meetings between these two clubs as Arsenal have seen victories in all.

Saturday’s game is scheduled for a 16:30 GMT kickoff.
