Sheffield United and Manchester United will be involved in a Premier League game for the first time since the 2020/21 season.

The Blades were relegated at the end of that campaign but did leave the competition with a few exciting results including a win over Man United in January.

Sheffield took Old Trafford by storm and recorded a 2-1 victory over the Red Devils before eventually suffering relegation.

After just one season in the Championship, the Blades are back in the top flight but have struggled in the first eight games of the season. They are one of two teams without a win so far this campaign and currently lie bottom of the league table.

Sheffield have just one point from a possible 24 available while they have also picked up seven defeats in the league so far.

For Man United, it has been a rollercoaster ride since the start of the new season having seen an improvement in the last campaign.

Erik ten Hag’s men currently find themselves in the 10th position, eight points behind league leaders Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, two teams they have lost to this season.

However, the Red Devils have a good run of games on the way to redeem themselves and get back to winning.

The international break may have come at the wrong time for them as they looked certain to carry on their momentum after coming from a goal down to beat Brentford 2-1 at Old Trafford.

The game is set to kick off at 19:00 GMT on Saturday.
