Erik ten Hag confident Manchester United will bounce back

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag says he is optimistic his side will get back to winning ways soon following theur rollercoaster start to the season.

The Red Devils have struggled for the majority of the 2023/24 season which also happens to be the Dutchman’s second season at the club.

The former Ajax manager has come under strong critisicm for the team’s performances and last weekend’s defeat to Manchester City has rekindled the critics once again.

United lost the bragging rights to City at Old Trafford succumbing to a 0-3 defeat in the Premier League.

However, Ten Hag is confident United will be back to their best despite the pressure.

“I believe that it’s matter of time before we are showing our true selves. It will come, I am certain”.

“At Man Utd, every game involves high stakes. Every single day, there is pressure on everybody involved with this club. But we will our best soon, I’m sure.”

The Red Devils will host Newcastle United in the last 16 of the EFL Cup on Wednesday night seeking to continue their trophy from last season.
