Tottenham can win the Premier League – Mauricio Pochettino

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino believes Tottenham Hotspur are capable of winning the 2023/24 Premier League.

Tottenham have had a strong start to the season and are yet to lose a game in the league this campaign.

The North London side occupies the top spot on the table with two points above Arsenal who are second having accumulated 26 points from 10 games so far.

Ange Postecoglou’s men face Chelsea on Monday on matchday 11 of the league with Pochettino making a return to his former club for the first time in four years.

Speaking at his press conference ahead of the game, the Argentine tipped Tottenham as one of the favourites for the league title.

“I said the only teams I would never manage are Arsenal and Barcelona,” Pochettino said.

“It is a strange feeling to come back at Spurs after four years… but it’s gonna be a happy day.

“I feel Spurs can really win the league. They’re doing an excellent job.”

Chelsea are gradually getting back to their best after only recording one defeat in all competitions in their last five games.

They lie 11th on the league table.
