Arda Guler was born to play for Real Madrid – Nacho Fernandez

Real Madrid defender Nacho Fernandez says he has no doubt about the quality of youngster Arda Guler despite the latter not kicking a ball yet for the club.

Guler joined Madrid in the summer but has yet to feature in a competitive game due to injuries which has kept him on the sidelines.

The Turkey international made the substitutes bench for the first time at Madrid last weekend in the league game against Rayo Vallecano.

He is expected to get minutes when Madrid take on Braga in the UEFA Champions League and his teammates has lauded his quality ahead of a potential debut.

“He’s very young but he has an incredible talent. He was born to play for Real Madrid,” Nacho said.

“Now he has to show it. He has recovered and we can’t wait to see him on the pitch.”

Despite injuries playing a part in Madrid’s squad in the early stages of the campaign, Carlo Ancelotti has ruled out any winter signing.

“We won’t sign anyone in January. Militão and Courtois will return before the end of the season. January market is off for us,” he added.

The game at the Santiago Bernabeu is for a 20:00 GMT kickoff.
