Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag says he has no plans of welcoming Casemiro and Lisandro Martinez back into the team anytime soon.

The pair are currently injured and have missed the last few games for the club across all competitions.

Since coming off in United’s Champions League opener against Bayern Munich back in August, Martinez is yet to feature for the Red Devils.

Casemiro, on the other hand, has missed the club’s narrow win over Fulham over the weekend and is expected to be out for a lengthy period.

“I don’t expect Lisandro Martínez and Casemiro to be available again before Christmas,” Ten Hag said at his presser on Tuesday.

The manager also added that the club is looking to get to their best form as the season progresses and hopes to find balance in the midfield.

“By getting more to our best 11 and getting routines in the team. So far,  we’ve had to change a lot. The midfield balance is als not there. I’m  sure once we get there, we’ll play better.”

United take on Copenhagen in the Champions League on Wednesday looking to give themselves a chance of progressing from the group after just one win in three games.
