Having seen Chelsea end their impressive unbeaten run in the Premier League, Tottenham Hotspur travel to Molineux to face Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.

Tottenham suffered a 4-1 defeat at the hands of London rivals Chelsea on Monday night and finished the game with nine men as Nicolas Jackson grabbed a Premier League hattrick at the London Stadium.

Wolves suffered a similar defeat to bottom-placed Sheffield United in controversial fashion at Bramall Lane as Sheffield recorded their first-ever win of the 2023/2024 season.

Wolves dropped to 14th place on the League standings as the defeat to Sheffield saw an end to their three-game unbeaten streak after taking points off Manchester City, Aston Villa and Newcastle.

The London side will be without James Maddison after the Englishman sustained an injury against Chelsea with Christian Romero and Destiny Udogie also set to miss the crunch encounter after being sent off against the Blues.

Micky Van de Ven is also ruled out for a few months with a hamstring injury and the hosts will look to capitalise on these notable absentees to grab all three points on Saturday.

Of the bottom half teams on the League standings, only West Ham United have netted more goals than Gary O’Neil’s men and Wolves could further sink Tottenham downwards on the standings in the League.

The match is scheduled for a 12:30 pm kickoff.
