We reacted properly – Jurgen Klopp on win over Brentford

Jurgen Klopp has heaped praise on Liverpool’s performance in their league win over Brentford on Sunday.

The Reds sit in 2nd place just a point behind leaders Manchester City who shared spoils with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

After a disappointing 1-1 draw at Kenilworth Road to Luton Town last weekend, Liverpool also failed to beat Toulouse in the Europa League in midweek raising questions about the team. They, however, returned to winning ways on Sunday as they brushed aside the Bees.

Klopp praised the reaction from his team at Anfield after two winless games before beating Brentford.

“I’ve never seen a season with faultless performances or every three days. It always happens and can happen yet we love to react and we reacted properly in this game,” he said.

Liverpool take on Manchester City in their next Premier League game in what is expected to be a blockbuster affair at the Etihad after the international break.
