Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has described Jude Bellingham’s signing for the club as ‘great’ while lauding his start to life in Spain.
Bellingham has been brilliant for Los Blancos in the early part of the season and tops the goal-scoring chart with 10 goals in La Liga while also netting three times in the Champions League.
The midfielder joined the club in the summer from Borussia Dortmund and has so far been one of the best players for Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
In an interview, Kroos described Bellingham’s start to the season saying: “He’s made a great start, that’s important. I had the same when I arrived in 2014”.
“I think he’s a great signing, I think he will help us a lot. He has everything to go to the top”.
However, the 20-year-old has withdrawn from the England squad on international duty after sustaining a shoulder injury in a league game against Rayo Vallecano.
However, Kroos believes prioritising his health and wellbeing will be crucial for his progress at the club in the next years.
“The most important thing at this club is how you manage yourself during the difficult situations because they do happen.”
“If you are able to handle it well, which I have a great feeling that he will because he does not seem like he is 20 years old. He seems pretty mature. We are there to help him,” he added.
