Kai Havertz says he is thrilled to be at Arsenal despite struggling with goalscoring issues since joining the club from London rivals Chelsea.
Havertz signed for Arsenal in a big-money move from Stamford Bridge and was expected to be a crucial signing to Mikel Arteta’s project.
However, the German international has only been involved in two goals in 19 matches this season for the Gunners in all competitions and despite dissatisfaction amongst fans in North London, he believes finding his goal-scoring form will be key for him with the Emirates already feeling like home.
“I’m super happy to be at Arsenal. It feels like family,” he said.
“It’s always tough when you come from Chelsea, because they are big rivals, so it can take weeks to get some trust from the fans.
“Goals and good games can help me to get it. I’ll always give 100,” he added.
The 24-year-old will look to rediscover his best self after the International break where he has featured in both of Germany’s games.
