Arsenal will hope to make it back-to-back wins since their last league defeat when they face Brentford away from home.
The Gunners, since the defeat to Newcastle United, have beaten Burnley and will now look to triumph over the Bees on Saturday.
Brentford’s three-game winning streak was ended by Liverpool just before the international break as they succumbed to a 3-0 loss at Anfield.
Prior to that defeat, Thomas Frank’s men had beaten Burnley, Chelsea and West Ham United in the Premier League.
Arsenal could be at the top of the league table by the close of the day depending on the result of the game between Manchester City and Liverpool.
Brentford have claimed just one win over Arsenal in their last four meetings in the league with the victory coming in August 2021.
Arsenal, on the other hand, have had two wins while their most recent league match ended in a draw.
The last meeting at Brentford between these two teams saw Mikel Arteta’s side claim a 3-0 win.
Aaron Ramsdale is set to start his first Premier League for Arsenal this weekend with David Raya unable to face his parent club.
