Manchester City vs Liverpool prediction, odds and preview

Manchester City and Liverpool will both command attention when they play each other in the Premier League on Saturday.

The two teams face each other in the early kickoff at the Etihad Stadium with a lot at stake for both Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp.

Just a point separates the two teams after 12 games in the Premier League with City top of the table at the moment with 28 points. Liverpool have 27 from 12 games as well.

In their last five meetings in the Premier League, Man City have a better advantage having two while Liverpool have claimed just one victory. The other two games have ended in a draw.

Since the back-to-back defeats to Wolves and Arsenal in September and October, City have been unbeaten in their last four games in the league. They have won three and drawn one.

Liverpool’s only league defeat came against Tottenham in September and the Reds have done enough to be title contenders since then. They have three wins and two draws in their last five games.

A win for City will see them go four points clear of the Merseysiders while a Liverpool win will take them to the top of the league table.
