Arsenal welcome Lens to the Emirates Stadium in a highly anticipated Group B clash in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.

The Gunners sit top of Group B with nine points from a possible 12 as a draw will be enough to register Mikel Arteta’s men in the Champions League knockout stages for the first time since 2017.

Lens however sit in third place with five points from four matches and will be confident of boosting their chances of qualifying on the final match day should they edge past Arsenal away from home.

The reverse clash between both sides saw Lens come from behind to win 2-1 over the Gunners in France and Frank Haise’s men will look to inflict another defeat on the Premier League leaders to increase their hopes of qualifying.

An 89th-minute header off a soothing Bukayo Saka cross for Kai Havertz was enough to send Arsenal top of the Premier League last weekend.

Lens will also be confident ahead of the game after beating Clement Foot 3-0 in the French Ligue 1 to move into sixth place on the league standings.

Arsenal will be unable to count on the services of Thomas Partey and Emile Smith Rowe who are out due to injury while the big miss for Lens will be winger Morgan Guilavogui who is serving a match ban for his late sending-off in Lens’ loss to PSV earlier this month.

The clash comes off at 20:00 GMT
