Bayern Munich vs Union Berlin prediction, odds and preview

Bayern Munich host Union Berlin on matchday 13 of the German Bundesliga at the Allianz Arena with an opportunity to temporarily move top of the table.

Bayern eye a seventh successive victory in the league after edging past Koln away from home last weekend while Berlin will look to improve upon their disappointing start to the 2023/24 season.

The hosts approach the game off a goalless draw with Copenhagen in mid-week in the UEFA Champions League as the visitors also shared the spoils with Braga in their midweek clash in Europe.

Thomas Tuchel’s men are undefeated in their last five matches against Berlin, with three wins and two draws.  They will also be looking to continue that form on Saturday.

The hosts will be glad to count on the services of league top scorer Harry Kane, who will look to fire the Bavarians top of the standings after an incredible start to the season with 18 goals after 12 matches.

The visitors sit in the drop zone in 17th place on the standings with only two wins this season in the German top flight. Berlin have also failed to win any of their last six games in the league.

The big miss for Bayern will be defender Kim Min-Jae who is out with a hip injury meanwhile Union Berlin will be without forward Sheraldo Becker on Saturday afternoon.
