Newcastle United will welcome Manchester United to St James’ Park on Saturday for their Premier League game.
The two teams come into the fixture off the back of disappointing games in the UEFA Champions Leagues in midweek.
The Magpies were undone by a controversial penalty decision in their game against Paris Saint-Germain in France. Kylian Mbappe scored late to tie the game as Newcastle were denied a win.
Man United, on the other hand, failed to claim all three points against Galatasaray despite commanding a two-goal lead on two occasions.
However, in the Premier League, United have been on a good run of form and will look to keep that going.
Erik ten Hag’s men have won five of their last six league games and are currently on a three-game winning streak.
Newcastle are just a point behind the Red Devils. They have three wins in the last five games with a draw and a defeat filling the void.
The two teams met earlier this season in the EFL Cup with Eddie Howe’s side knocking Man United out.
Newcastle have won just two of their last five league games at home against United with the visitors also claiming two wins.
Kickoff is set for 20:00 GMT.
