Real Madrid face Granada in a league fixture on Saturday in one of five games left until the end of the year.

As far as this season’s performance is concerned, Los Blancos are far better than their opposition but Granada have pulled surprises in the past.

Madrid come into the game off the back of a come-from-behind win against Napoli in the UEFA Champions League in midweek to seal top spot in Group C.

Rodrygo, Jude Bellingham, Joselu and Nico Paz were among the goals against the Italian side at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Granada, on the other hand, succumbed to a 3-1 defeat in their last game as they lost to Deportivo Alaves.

While Madrid find themselves at the top of La Liga standings, Granda sit 19th after 14 games played. They have just seven points in that period.

Carlo Ancelotti’s men have scored the second-highest number of goals in the league this season (31) while Granada have conceded the second-highest number of goals (33).

Saturday could be an opportunity for Madrid to extend their lead at the top of the table with Girona facing Valencia.

Madrid play after Girona’s fixture with kickoff set at 17:50 GMT.
