Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur go head-to-head on Sunday in the Premier League with a lot at stake.

Manchester City are looking to stay within touching means of Arsenal who continued their lead at the top of the table with a 2-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The win at the Emirates leaves City four points behind the Gunners ahead of Sunday’s game.

Tottenham, on the other hand, would be looking to leapfrog Newcastle United into fifth place.

However, they face strong competition from the current Premier League champions.

City have won nine of their 13 league games so far with two draws and two losses while the Lilywhites slipped up recently after a brilliant start to the season.

City came from two goals down to beat Leipzig in the Champions League in midweek, extending the unbeaten run to eight.

Tottenham last beat City in February 2022 with that being their best away performance against Guardiola’s men in the last five meetings.

City have won three in that period as well with one draw recorded.

A win for the Cityzens will take them just one point away from the top spot.
