Luton Town take on Premier League leaders Arsenal at Kenilworth Road on Tuesday night for the first time in 32 years.
The hosts approach this game on the back of a 3-1 defeat to Brentford last weekend, while Arsenal stayed top of the standings after a convincing 2-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Emirates Stadium.
The newly promoted side are only two points clear of the drop zone and sit in 17th place after 14 matches on the league standings and will hope to return to winning ways against the Gunners.
An in-form Arsenal side however stands in their way, as the Gunners are unbeaten in their last five matches across all competitions.
Goals from Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard were enough to maintain the top spot for the Londoners over the weekend, leaving Matheus Cunha’s late strike of little value in the final minutes of the game.
Mikel Arteta’s men will be full of confidence ahead of the clash, knowing the Hatters have only one win in their last six league matches. A win on Tuesday will see Arsenal move five points clear of Liverpool at the top of the table.
Luton Town captain Tom Lockyer could be the big miss for the hosts after going down with a back injury in the first few seconds against Brentford last weekend.
With Tuesday’s game representing Arsenal’s third match in the space of a week, Arteta will most likely rotate his side and Kai Havertz and Jorginho could find themselves featuring from the start.
Arsenal will look to see out the game with a victory to boost their chances of inching closer to the Premier League title after winning it two decades ago.
The clash comes off at 20:15 GMT.
