Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice insists the focus of the team must be on themselves rather than watching their opponents.
Arsenal took a five-point lead at the top of the Premier League table following their thrilling win over Luton Town on Tuesday night.
A Rice header late in the game ensured victory for the Gunners away from home to extend their lead at the top.
Speaking after the game, the England international cautioned his teammates to put behind them other issues.
“We have to take it every game as it comes. They were eight points clear last season. We have new players like me coming in and learning,” he said in an interview with Amazon Prime.
“It’s just about us and not worrying about anyone else and getting three points each week.”
On the winning goal, he added: “I went off his back and attacked it. Anything can happen.”
“Those are the moments you look back on. What a game. To score the winner is an honour.”
Arsenal will hope both Liverpool and Manchester City drop points in their respective games.
