Manchester United are in the right direction – Erik ten Hag

Erik ten Hag believes Manchester United are on the right path to success despite their shaky start to the 2023/24 season.

The Red Devils find themselves outside the top four of the Premier League table while they are also on the brink of elimination from the UEFA Champions League.

Ten Hag’s men have won just one of their five games in the cup competition and occupy the bottom spot.

In the Premier League, they sit seventh, 12 points behind leaders Arsenal after 14 games played.

Speaking to the press on Tuesday, the Dutchman highlighted the positives so far for the club.

“There will be always tough times in every journey. We are in the right direction and I know we will get where we want to be,” he said.

“If we stick together and we stick to the plan and the strategy, we will get where we want to be. It’s my story, I’m sure of that.”

United face Chelsea in their next league game on Wednesday night at Old Trafford looking to bounce back to winning ways after defeat to Newcastle United last weekend.
