Juventus will fancy their chances of momentarily moving top of Serie A when they host Napoli at the Allianz Arena on Friday night.

The host sits in second place on the league table, only two points behind leaders Inter Milan after a 2-1 win over Monza away from home last Friday.

Napoli however approach this game on the back of a 3-0 demolishing at home to leaders Inter Milan last weekend and will hope to return to winning ways yet face another tough task this Friday.

Nine points separate both sides on the standings yet the champions hold the advantage ahead of this clash with three wins and a draw, suffering only one defeat in their last five matches against the Bianconeri.

The Old Lady are without defeat in their last six league matches and have won by a 1-0 margin five times in the period, only sharing the spoils with leaders Inter Milan.

Napoli however have only three wins in their last six Serie A matches, losing twice and drawing once in the period.

With a couple of defensive woes, Juventus were boosted with the return of Danilo from injury after six weeks and the Brazilian could be crucial for the Old Lady in Friday night’s clash

Meanwhile, Walter Mazzarri’s men have been handed a huge blow ahead of the game with skipper Giovanni Di Lorenzo sustaining an injury in training this week.

The match comes off at 19:45 GMT.
