Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino says Christopher Nkunku will once again be unavailable for the game against Everton this weekend.
The Blues go away to Goodison Park on Sunday, December 10, in their next Premier League as they look to recover from the defeat to Manchester United.
Nkunku is yet to feature in a competitive for the London side after suffering an injury during pre-season.
Despite the forward resuming training with the group earlier this month, Pochettino says he is yet to be in shape and will miss the game against Everton.
“We are still assessing Christopher [Nkunku]. We will see tomorrow. I don’t think he will be involved [in the game against Everton],” he said.
The Argentine also asked that fans remain calm as they continue to work on the team.
“We have to be calm. We need balance. We can’t go from zero to 100 as after Brighton… or to 100 to zero. We need to see the reality that sometimes we struggle,” he added.
“When we don’t have the possibility to use all the elements of the squad, not only us.”
Chelsea have won just one of their last four games in the Premier League.
