Mauricio Pochettino says he is upset about Chelsea’s latest defeat to Everton as he feels they should have won the game.

The London side suffered a 2-0 defeat on the road on Sunday against Everton at Goodison Park, making it back-to-back defeats in the Premier League.

Despite dominating the game, the Blues were unable to take their chances and were punished for the rued chances.

Speaking to the press after the game, Pochettino said: “I’m really disappointed. This was a game to play and to win. It’s a problem we need to check.”

The Argentine also revealed the club would be in the market to make additions to the squad after a poor start to the campaign.

“We need to talk and to try and improve in the next transfer market,” he added.

“When the transfer window opens we will see what we can do.

“I’m not saying I’m going to ask for more players or less players but it is to see if perception matches reality.”

Chelsea are up against Sheffield United in their next league game next weekend at Stamford Bridge.
