Union Berlin host Real Madrid on Tuesday night in their final group game of the 2023/2024 UEFA Champions League campaign.

Berlin must beat Real Madrid and hope Braga lose to Napoli, to avoid finishing bottom of the standings if they want to book a place in the Europa League knockout round playoffs.

Real Madrid approach this game on the back of a 1-1 draw with Real Betis at Benito Villamarin while Union Berlin edged past Borussia Monchengladbach in a convincing 3-1 victory.

A last-minute Jude Bellingham winner was enough to grab all three points for Los Blancos in the reverse fixture in September and the 20-year-old will look to make another statement on Tuesday night upon his return to Germany.

With only one win in their last six matches in all competitions, Union Berlin must be at their absolute best against the record winners of the competition if they want to emerge victorious in this clash.
