Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag says he is committed to developing the club despite their inconsistent start to the 2023/24 season.

The Red Devils are on the brink of UEFA Champions League elimination after just one win in five games in the competition.

They occupy the bottom spot in Group A ahead of the final group game against Bayern Munich at Old Trafford on Tuesday night.

United will need to beat the German side and hope Galatasaray and Copenhagen play out a draw in Denmark.

Speaking ahead of the game, Ten Hag called for improvement from his side.

“We have to work in order to improve. It is my responsibility, to improve the team,” he told the media at his presser.

“I will give everything, and the team will as well.

“I can show them the clips from Chelsea. If we have a good plan, we can beat any opponent.”

United suffered a humiliating 3-0 defeat at home against Bournemouth over the weekend and need to respond in their next game against Bayern.
