Chelsea vs Sheffield United prediction, odds and preview

Chelsea will host Sheffield United in the Premier League on Saturday looking to bounce back to winning ways after back-to-back defeats.

The Blues have lost to Manchester United and Everton in their last two games in the competition and have just one win in their last five.

Sheffield United are no different from Mauricio Pochettino’s men as they also have one victory in the last five league games.

The Blades recorded a 1-0 victory at home last weekend to record their second win in 16 league games this season.

Chris Wilder’s men are currently bottom of the league table with just eight points to their name having lost 12 of the fixtures.

Chelsea’s last win came against Brighton and Hove Albion in the first game in December but the Londoners have struggled since then.

A win for Chelsea will see them climb to the 10th position depending on other results from the weekend.

Chelsea have never lost a home game in the Premier League to Sheffield United but have only managed just one clean sheet at home in four games.

Pochettino could be boosted by the likely involvement of Christopher Nkunku but has Robert Sanchez and Marc Cucurella out.
