Atletico Madrid will be hopeful of returning to winning ways in La Liga when they welcome Getafe to the Wanda Metropolitano on Tuesday night.

Meanwhile, Getafe were 3-0 victors over Sevilla and moved into eighth place on the standings in La Liga.

The hosts have recorded 11 wins, one draw and three defeats in 16 matches this campaign and will move clear of rivals Barcelona into third place should they grab all three points.

Led in attack by Alvaro Morata and Antoine Griezmann, Diego Simeone’s men will be confident ahead of the clash knowing they are undefeated in their last five games against Getafe, winning thrice and drawing twice in the period.

Getafe however have recorded four wins in their last five matches in all competitions, winning their last three consecutive games.

Moreover, the visitors could move to seventh place over Real Sociedad on the league table with a win and marksman Mason Greenwood is expected to be crucial for Jose Bordalas’s side on Tuesday night in Madrid.
