Manchester United welcome Aston Villa to Old Trafford on Tuesday night in the Premier League on Boxing Day.
The Red Devils suffered a 2-0 defeat at the London Stadium to West Ham United on Saturday, while a late goal from Nicolo Zaniolo secured a point for the Villans at Bramall Lane.
Despite having the poorest start to the Premier League prior to Christmas since 1930, Erik Ten Hag’s men will be confident of bouncing back to winning ways knowing they have two wins and two draws in their last five games against Aston Villa, losing only once in the period.
The visitors however are unbeaten in their last six Premier League games and sit in 3rd place on the league standings, only a point behind leaders Arsenal.
With only one win in his last five league matches, Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag could see himself removed from his position if he fails to get a convincing result at home on Tuesday night.
The Red Devils will have Diogo Dalot available after the fullback served a suspension against West Ham last weekend meanwhile Aston Villa will have Matty Cash unavailable due to a suspension against Sheffield United.
The match comes off at 20:00 GMT.
