Roma welcome Atalanta to Stadio Olympico on Sunday night in Serie A, in what is expected to be an end-to-end affair between the two Italian giants.

The hosts approach this game off a 2-1 win over Cremonese in the Coppa Italia in midweek, meanwhile, Atalanta were 3-1 winners over Sassuolo on Wednesday night.

Separated by only one point on the standings, both teams will look to increase their chances of a top-four finish this season, come Sunday night.

The advantage lies in the balance as both sides have two wins and a draw in their last five games against each other, yet, Atalanta look the better side ahead of this clash, with five wins in their last six fixtures across all competitions.

For Jose Mourinho’s men, Paulo Dybala and Romelu Lukaku are expected to lead the attacking line while Atalanta will be without top scorer Ademola Lookman, as the Nigerian is off on international duty at the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
