Wigan Athletic welcome Manchester United to the DW Stadium on Monday night in the third Round of the English FA Cup.
Both teams have won the FA Cup after 2010 and this game is expected to present lot’s of end-to-end attacking display on Monday night.
The hosts approach this tie off a 1-1 draw with Barnsley in League One, while the Red Devils take on their first game this year since their 2-1 away defeat to Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.
Last year’s finalists have the advantage moving into this game with two wins in their last two matches against the hosts, and will look to extend that feat to progress to the next round.
However, with only one win in their last six matches across all competitions, the Red Devils could have an upset afforded them by Wigan Athletic should they fail to remain resolute in defense.
Wigan will be without Tom Pearce and Jason Kerr for the contest through injury while Erik Ten Hag’s men will have Rasmus Hojlund available after the Denmark international missed out on the match with Nottingham Forest.
The match comes off at 20:15 GMT.
